
Hunter Franklin is an active Music Educator based in Fremont, California. Hunter’s experience includes performing with Vanguard Cadets and Santa Clara Vanguard before aging out with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022. While at the Cavaliers he had the privilege to study Brass pedagogy under Kevin LeBoeuf, Dylan Toombs, and Freddy Martin. He received his BA in Music from Sacramento State, where he studied trumpet with Ari Micich and was a founding member of Sacramento State’s Hornet Horns Brass Quintet and Sac State’s Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Alongside his primary ensembles he actively consults with ensembles throughout the Western US. His professional associations include California Band Directors Association, California Orchestra Directors Association, National Band Association, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association and the National Association for Music Education.
